Stowe Recreation Path is one of the most trekked trails in the state.  Popular with joggers and walkers – the Stowe Recreation Path winds from the near the top of the Mountain Road down to Stowe Village.  This is one of several bike paths in Stowe.  From mountain biking to paved walkways, you’ll find plenty of biking, walking and cycling trails in Stowe, Vermont. The Stowe Recreation Path, Stowe, VT – 5.3 Mile Loop – Easy Rating

This fairly level paved path intertwines with SR 108, winding through woodlands and passing-by Stowe Village shops and churches with several bridges spanning the Waterbury River. A popular trail with road bikers and walkers. Read more about the Stowe Bike Path.

Stowe Bike Path
The Stowe Recreation Path winds about 5.5 miles, one-way, from north to south in and around the historic Stowe Village. Users can use it for walking, hiking, biking, running, rollerblading, and cross-country skiing (in the winter). There’s actually a separate walking / jogging path that a bit off this beaten trail that’s safer for runners. The path starts off near the entrance to the village and runs parallel to Mountain Road for a bit before leading to a bridge that runs over the West Branch River….This is one of the most peaceful and beautiful stretches of land in the world.
