The Stowe Recreation Path, a proud recipient of many prestigious awards, was expanded to its current 5.3-mile iteration in 1989. This local treasure is free for use by the public and is enjoyed year-round by cyclists, joggers, and cross-country skiers. There are many options along the path for dining and shopping during an evening soiree or afternoon constitutional, as well as spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, secluded swimming holes, and convenient picnic tables.

A wonderful Vermont Museum, and popular VT Attraction, the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum captures the tradition of skiing and riding here in Vermont, including a “collection of skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, memorabilia, art, photographs and archive material chronicling the evolution of winter sports in Vermont.” Visit the shop for vintage posters and unique Vermont arts and crafts. The museum puts on a number of exciting events each year, so be sure to check your calendar in advance.
